Oh how I love Agatha Christie. I discovered her as a young teenager, on the prowl in my library, feeling too old for me beloved Nancy Drew stories, but not really loving all the romance books that were available. Creator of legendary fictional detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, Christie's books have been made into plays, movies, and television shows countless times. Wikipedia states that "according to the Guinness Book of World Records, Christie is the best-selling novelist of all time." And "Christie's stage play The Mousetrap holds the record for the longest initial run: it opened at the Ambassadors Theatre in London on 25 November 1952 and as of 2012 is still running after more than 24,600 performances".
